Support The Ionic Centre

Ionic Members and Friends

Individuals who wish to participate in its programs and generally support The Ionic Centre aims and activities may become Ionic Centre Members and offer an annual donation.

Ionic Society Membership

The Ionic Society Membership is entrusted on individuals who contribute significantly to the development of The Ionic Centre’s purposes and programs.

Scholarships and Fellowships

Believing that quality education should be accessible to all, The Ionic Centre provides annually a number of Scholarships to support young persons of exceptional promise. The Centre also plans to grant a number of Fellowships to individuals whose research work merits special support in contributing to the purposes of its programs. The greater part of the funds provided for scholarship derive from the institution’s own general activities. In this respect, The Ionic Centre welcomes individual contributions towards granting more scholarships and fellowships.

Donations and Grants

The Ionic Centre programs are funded by tuition fees and by proceeds from the Centre’s cultural activities and filoxenia services, by foundation and government grants, and donations by individuals. Study fees cover approximately one-half of the educational costs per student. Gratefully welcome are donations to the Centre’s General Development Fund, or earmarked to particular academic programs.

The Ionic Centre during the past years has received contributions by the following sate and private entities which thankfully acknowledges:

The Hellenic Ministry of Culture

The Hellenic Ministry of Economy and Finance

The Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs

The Region of Attika

The European Union Development Fund

The London Chian Cooperation Committee
